On a mobile device

Android: Open Settings, then tap Network & internet or Connections. Tap VPN and select the active VPN to disconnect it.

iPhone: Go to Settings, then General, and tap VPN & Device Management. You can disconnect the active VPN here or tap on it and choose to delete the profile.
On a browser
